Dr. Kelley Sams is an applied anthropologist specialized in health, governance, and data for decisionmaking.
She has over 20 years of experience working in applied research. Kelley was previously a Fulbright-
Hays research fellow and a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger. Kelley has conducted research on disease
elimination, pandemic preparedness, and the online circulation of health (mis/dis) information. She is
passionate about using the arts to collect and present data. A dual US-French citizen, Kelley has published
widely across multiple disciplines in English and French. Her current work focuses on governance and open
data.
